Biography

Marian Jankowski competed in bantamweight weightlifting at the 1960 Roma Olympics. He was a silver medalist at the 1959 World Championships and won four medals at the European Championships, with silvers in 1957-59 and a bronze in 1960. Jankowski won six Polish titles and set 15 Polish national records. After retiring from competition he coached weightlifting.
