Biography

Herbert Nigsch was an Austrian wrestler who competed mainly in Greco-Roman events. He participated in the 1980 Moskva (Moscow) and 1984 Los Angeles Olympics. On both occasions, he was eliminated in the preliminaries, at bantamweight in 1980 and featherweight in 1984. In 1977, Nigsch came sixth at the World Championships and fifth at the Europeans, which were his best international results.
