Kiril Petkov was a Greco-Roman wrestler who competed at the 1960 and 1964 Olympics, winning a silver medal in 1964. He also won a silver medal at the 1965 World Championships in Tampere, Finland. Petkov was named an honorary citizen of his hometown of Pernik.
