Biography

Oskar Wiklund wrestled for the Finnish top team of Helsingin Jyry. Although he never had a podium at the Finnish National Championships, he placed 4th at the 1911 unofficial World Championships in Helsinki in the < 83 kg division. At the 1912 Stockholm Olympics, he competed in the middleweight B. He withdrew, probably due to an injury, after winning his first three bouts including one against future bronze medalist Béla Varga from Hungary by throw.
