Biography

Achille Canna played for Virtus Bologna from 1953-62, and won two Italian titles (1955 and 1956). He was on the Italy national team for nine years, and competed at two Olympics with a fourth place finish at Roma in 1960 being his best result. He also represented Italy at the 1955 European Championships in Moskva. In total Canna won 70 international caps, scoring 388 points. He was inducted into the Italian Basketball Federation Hall of Fame in 2016.
