Biography

Bernard Szczepański wrestled Greco-Roman at the 1972 München Olympics. He also won a bronze medal at the 1970 World Championships. Szczepański competed for Slavia Ruda Śląska and GKS Katowice. From 1974-80 he was a trainer for Slavia Ruda Śląska, helping Marian Skubacz to win medals at the World and European Championships.
