Biography

Theodor Bergqvist from Sweden’s leading wrestling club at the time, Örgryte IS, became national champion in the Greco-Roman middleweight division in 1911 and 1912. At the 1912 Olympics, however, he was less fortunate losing his first two bouts by fall and was eliminated.
