Eigil Kragh Christiansen was a pharmacist like his father and took over his father’s pharmacy in Oslo (Kristiania). In 1919 he married Jane Torborg Ranckertz. Together they had one son. At the 1912 Olympic sailing events he was – together with his father Hans Christiansen – a member of the crew of the Norwegian 6 metres yacht Sonja II, placing fifth in both races and overall.
