Per Werenskiold was a Norwegian sailor who competed in the Finn class. Werenskiold was selected to compete at the 1968 Mexico City Olympics where he had an impressive start to the event, finishing second in the first race, followed by sixth in the second race. His good form did not last, however, with him only getting into the top-20 in the third of the seven races, which saw him finish 21st overall. Four years later he came 25th at the 1972 München Olympics with a best placing of 14th in the fourth race.
