Biography

Fernando Lapuente had the following podium finishes at major championships: 3rd in the 1951 Pan American Games 4×100 metres Relay (with Gerardo Bönnhoff, Mariano Acosta, and the non-Olympian Adelio Márquez). Lapuente also finished sixth in the 1951 Pan American Games 200 metres.
