Winsome Cripps had the following podium finishes at major championships: 1st in the 1954 British Empire and Commonwealth Games 4×110 yards Relay (with Marjorie Nelson and the non-Olympians Gwen Wallace and Nancy Fogarty), 2nd 1954 British Empire and Commonwealth Games 100 yards, 2nd 1954 British Empire and Commonwealth Games 220 yards.
