Biography

Paul Verlaeckt was a Belgian racewalker who represented the Borgerhoutsche Racing Club in Borgerhout. Verlaeckt was selected to compete in two events at the 1920 Antwerpen Olympics. In the 3,000 metres racewalk he finished eighth in his heat with only the top six advancing to the final. His performance did not improve in the 10 kilometres event where he was disqualified in the heats.
