Biography
Evald Mahl competed both in basketball and as a high jumper in athletics. He graduated Tartu Night High School, and later played for Tartu NMKÜ (1933-40), Tartu Dynamo (1940-41), and Tartu Kalev (1941-44). He played for Estonia at the 1937 and 1939 European Championships and earned 14 caps.
