Biography

Pedro del Vecchio was selected as part of Colombia’s five-man delegation to compete at the 1936 Berlin Olympics. Vecchio took part in the triple jump at the Games but did not achieve the 14.00 metres required in the qualification round to advance to the final. He was also scheduled to participate in the high jump, long jump, and the decathlon, but did not start in any of those.
