Biography

Lise Koch won the Danish javelin title from 1957-61. She set her first Danish record in 1958 and was the first Danish woman to throw past 50 metres, which she did with 50.22 in 1960. She competed at the 1958 European championships but did not qualify for the finals. She also played on the Danish national handball team and won a silver medal at the 1962 World Championships.
