Biography

Jørgen Munk Plum joined KIF in 1948 while a student at the Royal Agricultural College. A few months later he set a Danish record of 46.41 in the discus, while winning the first of his 11 Danish titles. He eventually set 13 Danish records with the disc, finishing with 50.35 in 1961 to win his final Danish championships. He competed in 32 internationals for Denmark, including the 1950 European Championships, in which he finished eighth.

Personal Best: DT – 50.35 (1961).
