Biography

Gerhard Topp was a Danish long-distance runner who represented the Start club in København. Topp ran in the cross-country race at the 1912 Stockholm Olympics, finishing in 26th place. Denmark finished in fifth place in the team event with the best three individual placings used to determine the team result. Topp was the third-best placed Danish runner overall, finishing behind compatriots Lauritz Christiansen (14th place) and Viggo Pedersen (23rd place).
