Biography

Spanish track and field athlete Diodoro Pons represented FC Barcelona and competed in long-distance running races. Pons won the Catalan cross-country championship in 1918 and 1921. At the 1920 Antwerpen Olympics he ran in both the 5,000 and 10,000 metres but failed to advance from the heats in either race. Pons was also scheduled to run in the cross-country race at the Antwerpen Games but did not start.

Personal Bests: 5000 – 16:27.2 (1924); 10000 – 33:55.4 (1917).
