Reinhold Saulmann was an Estonian sportsman who won national titles in both track and field and bandy before becoming an important figure in sports administration. In the sprints and 400 metres hurdles Saulmann won five national titles from 1920 to 1924, along with ten silver and six bronze medals, and eight gold medals in relay races. In 1921 he set Estonian records in the 150 metres and 300 metres, and in 1925 he set a national record in the 400 metres hurdles. Saulmann ran in the 200 and 400 metres at the 1920 Antwerpen Olympics but did not progress from the heats in either race.
In bandy Saulmann won nine Estonian titles from 1916 to 1929 and represented the national team on four occasions. After his retirement he served as the club treasurer of the Estonian Olympic Committee and later became the chair of the Winter Sports Union. Saulmann died young at the age of 41 in Tallinn in June 1936.
