Biography

During the 1920s Finnish javelin thrower Albert Lamppu represented Viipurin Urheilijat in Helsinki. Lamppu competed in the javelin at the 1928 Amsterdam Olympics, finishing in ninth place with a best throw of 61.45 metres. At the Finnish athletics championships he won bronze in the event in 1928 and 1929.
