Yves Cros had the following podium finishes at major championships: 1st in the 1946 European Championships 4×400 metres Relay (with Robert Chef d’Hôtel, Jacques Lunis, and the non-Olympian Bernard Santona). In the 1946 European Championships 400 metres hurdles Cros finished fourth and in the 1950 European Championships 400 metres hurdles he was eliminated in the semi-finals.
