Biography

Jacques Lunis had the following podium finishes at major championships: 1st in the 1946 European Championships 4×400 metres Relay (with Yves Cros, Robert Chef d’Hôtel, and the non-Olympian Bernard Santona), 2nd in the 1946 European Championships 400 metres, 2nd in the 1950 European Championships 400 metres. In the 1950 European Championships Lunis also finished fourth with the French 4×400 metres relay team (with François Schewetta, Jean-Paul Martin-du-Gard, and the non-Olympian René Leroux).

Personal Best: 400 – 47.6 (1950).
