French track and field athlete Georges Guillez competed in the years prior to World War II, specialising in sprint events. In 1934 Guillez, along with Robert Paul, Raymond Boisset, and Pierre Skawinski, won silver in the 4 x 400 metres relay at the European Championships in Torino. He also competed in the 200 metres at the championships, but was eliminated in the heats. Two years later Guillez was part of the quartet that ran in the 4 x 400 metres relay at the 1936 Berlin Olympics.
