Biography
Basketball player Valentino Pellarini was born in Istria, and played for Triestina in the early part of his career. He made his Italy début in a 39-31 win over Hungary at the 1946 European Championships in Geneva. Pellarini went on to win 16 international caps, scoring 29 points.
