Biography

Football defender Armand Bissen played domestic matches for Stade Dudelange in Luxembourg from 1951 to 1958. In June 1952 Bissen made his international début for the Luxembourg national football team in a 1–1 draw in a friendly match against France. He played in four more international matches for Luxembourg, all of them in 1955, with his final appearance coming in October of that year in a 5–0 defeat to Belgium. Bissen was selected for Luxembourg’s squad for the football tournament at the 1952 Helsinki Olympics but he did not play in any matches.
