Biography

Mario Giani, a goalkeeper, never played in the first Italian division, but was in the second and third division with many teams such as Vogherese, AC Siena, FS Sestrese 1919, Vado and AS Fanfulla Lodi. When Giani was with FS Sestrese the Italian coach Vittorio Pozzo called him for the 1936 Berlin Olympics where he was an alternate to the first choice Bruno Venturini. Also after the Games, he never played in the National team.
