Biography

Long distance runner Paul Gerhardt was runner-up in the marathon at the German Championships in 1934 and 1935. At the 1928 Amsterdam Olympic Games he placed 50th. At the 1934 European Championships he did not finish, retiring at km 25. He was educated as a metal worker and later became a policeman.

Personal Best: Mar – 2-36:50 (1934).
