Biography

Cameroon-born German hurdler Eric Kaiser was eliminated in the semi-finals of the 110 metres hurdles at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics. As a youngster he won several German youth national titles in hurdles, long jump, and decathlon but could never win a senior German title.

After being found guilty of taking the illegal muscle-building agent clenbuterol during the German Team Championships final in 1999, he was immediately suspended from competitions by the German Athletics Federation with a competition ban of two years up to 2001. Kaiser later became an athletics coach.

Personal Best: 110H – 13.34 (1995).
