Biography

Long jumper and sprinter Sepp Schwarz failed to reach the long jump final at the 1972 München Olympics. He participated in the European Championships in 1966 (200 metres) and 1971 (long jump), and the European Cups in 1965, winning the 200 that year, 1967, and 1970. Domestically Schwarz earned West German titles in 1965 (200 m), and 1970 (long jump). In 1970 he set a new European Cup record of 8.35 in the long jump.
