Biography

Alexandros Kranis was a Greek long-distance runner who represented Ethnikos GS. Kranis ran in the 5,000 and 10,000 metres at the 1920 Antwerpen Olympics but did not advance from the heats in either race. He also ran in the cross-country race at the Antwerpen Games where he finished in 38th place. Four years later Kranis ran in the 5,000 metres at the 1924 Paris Olympics but did not progress from his heat. He ran in the 10,000 metres and the marathon in Paris, failing to finish in either race.
