Biography

Édouard Armand was one of eight athletes that represented Haiti at the 1924 Paris Olympics. Armand was a track and field athlete who was scheduled to compete in five events, starting in three of them. In the 400 metres and 800 metres he did not advance from his heats in either race, but he did finish in 23rd place out of 36 competitors in the decathlon. Armand was on the start list for both the 1,500 metres and the long jump, but did not compete in either event.
