Biography

Dasharatha B. Chavan was an Indian long-distance runner who competed at the 1928 Amsterdam Olympics. Chavan ran in the 10,000 metres but was one of the four athletes not to finish the race. He was also scheduled to run in the 5,000 metres but did take to the starting line.
