Biography

Born in Roma, Cinzia Petrucci won a shot put bronze medal at the 1979 Split Mediterranean Games. At the European Championships, she placed fourth indoors in 1980 at Sindelfingen while, outdoors, at Roma in 1974 she was 11th. At the 1980 Olympics Petrucci finished 14th. Her personal best was 18.74 in 1980, which was an Italian record for 17 years, until the 18.89 indoor mark by Mara Rosolen on 16 February 1997. Domestically Petrucci won eight Italian titles between 1973-81. Between 1973-82 she earned 41 international caps.

Personal Best: SP – 18.74 (1980).
