Biography

Sandra Valenti was an Italian athlete of the 1950s. Domestically she never won a national title in the sprints as these events were dominated in those years by Giuseppina Leone.

Internationally Valenti competed at the 1958 European Championships in Stockholm in the 100 metres, but was eliminated in the heats, and she helped Italy to a fifth-place finish in the 4x100 relay, the same finish she achieved two years later at the Roma Games. Valenti earned 10 international caps from 1955-60.

Personal Best: 100 – 11.9 (1958).
