Biography

Bets Dekens was a Dutch track and field athlete who represented the Koninklijke Nederlandse Atletiek Unie (KNAU). Dekens specialised in the discus throw and was selected as part of the Dutch Olympic team for the 1928 Amsterdam Games. Her best throw of 29.36 metres in the qualifying round was not enough for her to advance to the final.
