Biography
Kenshichi Yokoyama started playing basketball in the club of the Niigata Commercial High School which dominated high school basketball in the 1930s. Later he advanced to Waseda University and became a member of the Japanese basketball team at the 1936 Berlin Olympics. After World War II, Yokoyama was on the team of Kawasaki Steel Works.
