Biography

Lau Spel was a Dutch track and field athlete who represented Blauw-Wit in Amsterdam. He specialised in the hurdles, winning four national titles in the 110 metres in the 1920s (1921, 1924–25, 1927). Spel competed in the event at both the 1924 and 1928 Olympics but did not advance from the heats at either Games.

Personal Best: 110H – 15.8 (1923).
