Biography

Pedersen won the Norwegian Championships in the 100 metres in 1910 and 1915, the 200 metres in 1913 and 1915, the 400 metres in 1913, 1914, and 1915 and the 800 metres in 1912. For his three titles in 1915, he was awarded the King’s Cup in athletics. He also placed 11 times second in these events (100 m in 1912-14, 200 m in 1910-12 and 1914, 400 m in 1910-12 and 800 m in 1915).

For the 1912 Olympic Games in Stockholm, Pedersen was entered in four events but only competed in the 100 metres and the 400 metres without making the second round in either event. He set two Norwegian records in the 400 metres in 1915 (51.3 and later 51.0).

Personal Bests: 100 – 10.9 (1913); 400 – 51.0 (1915).
