Biography

One of Poland’s leading triple jumpers of the 1970s, Eugeniusz Biskupski won two Polish outdoor titles (1977 and 1979), and one indoors (1978). His most notable international performance came at the 1976 Olympics, where he made the final and placed seventh.

He also reached the final of the 1978 European Championships, coming in tenth place. In additional, he competed in several European Indoor Championships (best result: sixth in 1975), and his sole international podium was third place in the European Cup of 1977. A gym teacher at a primary school in Warszawa, he also was a track coach at his club Legia.

Personal Best: TJ – 16.73 (1975).
