Walter Turczyk was a Polish track and field athlete who specialised in the javelin throw. Turczyk was the national champion on four occasions (1932–33, 1935, 1937), along with finishing as the runner-up in 1934. He competed in the event at the 1936 Berlin Olympics where he finished tenth with a best throw of 65.36 metres. In World War II Turczyk became a German citizen as a reichsdeutsche and also served as an SS troop.
