Biography

Stanisław Wołodko was a discus thrower who competed at the 1976 Montréal Olympics. He was Polish champion in the discus four times – 1975-76 and 1980-81 – and reached the podium at the Polish nationals 11 times. On 3 September 1978 Wołodko set the Polish record with a throw of 64.80 metres. He competed for Zawiszy Bydgoszcz.

Wołodko became a coach after his competitive career ended. In the 1990s and early 2000s he was the coordinator of the Warszawianka athletics section
