Biography

Willie Botha was a South African track and field athlete who competed during the 1930s. Botha won the silver medal in the 880 yards at the 1934 British Empire Games in London. He also ran in the 440 yards but was eliminated in the heats. Two years later he ran in the 800 metres and the 4 x 400 metres relay at the 1936 Berlin Olympics but did not advance from the heats in either race.
