Biography

Heinz Hemmi was a Swiss track and field athlete who competed as a sprinter. Hemmi was part of the Swiss quartet that ran in the 4 × 100 metres relay at the 1924 Paris Olympics where they were disqualified in the final. He was also scheduled to run in the same race at the 1928 Amsterdam Olympics. The Swiss team finished in fifth place in Amsterdam but Hemmi did not run in the heats or the final.

Personal Best: 100 – 11.2 (1924).
