Biography

Gösta Svensson was a high jumper who placed fourth at the 1952 Helsinki Olympics and fifth at the 1950 European Championships. He set a Swedish record with 2.02 in 1952, his personal best. Svensson never won a Swedish title but placed second in 1953 and 1956.

Personal Best: HJ – 2.02 (1952).
