Biography

Swedish track and field athlete Sven Thuresson represented IF Start in Örebro where he specialised in long-distance races. Thuresson ran in the 10,000 metres at the 1924 Paris Olympics where he finished 13th out of the 32 athletes that started the race. He also ran in the cross-country races in Paris but did not finish in the individual race, with his placing not counting towards the Swedish team’s ranking.
