Czechoslovak track and field athlete Josef Machaň represented Slavia Praha, specialising in the high jump and the long jump. Machaň competed in both events at the 1924 Paris Olympics with his best result coming in the high jump where he shared 15th place with three other athletes. In the long jump he finished in 25th place with a best jump of 6.090 metres.
