Biography

Norman Anderson finished fourth in the 1924 shot put Olympic Trials, representing the University of Southern California. He played football at USC, playing in their first Rose Bowl game in 1923. Anderson graduated from Southern Cal in 1925 with a degree in commerce. He later worked for the Richland Oil Corporation, where he was manager of the company’s southern California pipelines.

Personal Best: SP – 14.83 (48-8) (1924).
