Biography

Peter Gerhardt was a sprinter but better at the 220, finishing second in the 1907 AAU and third in 1909 in that event. In the 100 he was sixth at the 1910 AAU Meet. Gerhardt competed at the 1908 Western Olympic Trials, finishing second in the 100 metres and winning the 200, but he was not named to the US team, for unknown reasons. He was from the Reno area. Gerhardt later opened his own tailor shop, Gerhardt Tailoring, in Reno.

Personal Bests: 100y – 10.0 (1911); 100 – 10.9e (1912); 200 – 22.1 (1912).
