Biography

Mort Kaer was far better known as a football player, playing halfback for Southern Cal from 1924-26. In 1925 he led the nation with 19 touchdowns for USC, a mark only broken 43 years later by O. J. Simpson. He played one year in NFL, in 1931 with the Frankford Yellow Jackets and then became a high school football coach.
