Biography

Vince O’Sullivan was TAC champion in 1981 in the 50 km. walk. In addition to the 1984 Olympics, he competed for the US at the 1979 Pan American Games (5th), and the 1979 and 1981 World Cup of walking. O’Sullivan graduated from Hunter College of the City University of New York with degrees in electrical engineering. He later worked in that field for many years, specializing in digital signal processing. O’Sullivan spent much of his work career in Texas, eventually working for the University of Texas.

Personal Best: 50 km. Walk – 4-12:11 (1983).
